Update on January 17, 2026:

“Teddy” is nine weeks old and available for a new family.

Each of our puppies goes home with

* Current vaccines, done at the vet at their 8-week check-up

* Health certificate from the vet

* Microchip (placed at vet visit)

* Preventative deworming

* 26-month health guarantee

* Bag of puppy food

* AKC papers (with limited registration, meaning no breeding rights unless prior arrangements are made)

* Parents’ pedigrees.

Teddy was born in our home, as all of our litters are. He has been socialized with our family, with guests to our home, and with friends and family outside of our home as we have taken him out-and-about with us.

We have been working diligently this week on potty training with Teddy! He is such a fast learner and is definitely getting the concept!

Teddy is also learning “sit,” “come,” and “down.” He has been learning not to chew on household items other than his toys, and he is picking that up so quickly.

He is a very laid-back boy who seems to have quite a low prey drive. We have several cats who are very used to our dogs and puppies, and they have been sweet but firm with him, helping Teddy to learn good boundaries. The cats actually do enjoy our puppies and come up to them affectionately and will tolerate snuggling with them, but they are no-nonsense when it comes to dogs chasing them or chewing on them. We feel this gives our puppies such an amazing advantage in learning to respect cats and other small animals.

Teddy is great with loud noises like vacuuming, TV, and kitchen appliances. He plays well with our older Shepherds as well as with our little 10-pound Dachshund, Finn.

Teddy loves treats, which helps with training. He is a happy, intelligent, all-around well-mannered boy who is going to make such a wonderful addition to his new family. His name can be changed by his new owners, but it does reflect his sweet personality!
